Orphan Sponsorship Program

Would you like to make a positive difference in the life of an orphan and be in Paradise together with the Prophet (PBUH)?!

The Orphan Sponsorship Program (OSP) and students at the University of Toronto are sponsoring 131 orphans from 22 different countries Masha’Allah. The orphans are sponsored through Govt. of Canada registered charities and the donations cover education, health, food, shelter and other basic necessities for the orphans. This is an amazing achievement by students Alhamdulillah, but continuing to re-sponsor the children annually, will be a challenge.

We are now collecting donations to re-sponsor all the kids. It would now cost around $59,000 to re-sponsor all the orphans for a year and this can only be possible with Your help!

• It costs $360/year to sponsor an orphan from: Afghanistan, Kashmir, Bangladesh, Somalia, Sudan, Pakistan, India, Kenya, Kosova, Sri Lanka, Sierra Leone, Guyana, and Indonesia.
• It costs $420/year to sponsor an orphan from: Egypt and Burkina Faso.
• It costs $624/year to sponsor an orphan from: Chechnya, Ethiopia and South Africa
• It costs $720/year to sponsor an orphan from: Palestine, Lebanon, and Bosnia.
• It costs $732/year to sponsor an orphan from: Iraq.

Donate any amount that you like and donations can be in the form of:
- Donations at all Jumu’ahs (at Hart House) and iftars on campus during Ramadan will go to sponsor orphans.
